Job Description

A fast-growing digital brand in the sports and SaaS space is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Manager to lead strategy and execution across multiple social accounts — both in-house and client-facing.

This is a 1099 contract position to start, with potential to evolve into a full-time role overseeing multiple social brands across parent and child companies. You'll play a vital role in shaping voice, increasing engagement, and creating high-performing content in collaboration with marketing and client teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day scheduling, posting, and engagement for multiple social media accounts (both internal and client-owned)

  • Create compelling content across Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and more

  • Develop content calendars aligned with brand goals and campaign priorities

  • Monitor trends and capitalize on real-time opportunities for audience growth

  • Analyze performance metrics to inform future content and strategy

  • Work cross-functionally with creative, product, and client services teams

  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all accounts

  • Occasionally support paid social execution or influencer partnerships

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing social media for brands (B2C, B2B, or creator/athlete accounts)

  • Strong copywriting, creative ideation, and visual storytelling skills

  • Fluent in using tools like Canva, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, Metricool, or native platform schedulers

  • Comfortable working across multiple accounts and content streams simultaneously

  • Understands how to communicate with athletes, creators, and niche online communities

  • Bonus: experience with basic video editing (Reels/TikTok) or AI-assisted content tools

Compensation & Contract Details

  • 1099 contractor to start (10–20 hours/week)

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience

  • Flexible work hours and async-friendly

  • Potential for full-time role managing multiple brand accounts as we grow
