Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Roseville, CA, this position offers the opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) within a school setting on a contract basis. The role involves providing speech and language services to school-age students while collaborating closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who provide direct supervision. This onsite position ensures hands-on support for students with communication and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work collaboratively with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support student progress.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents, particularly in high-stress or crisis situations.
- Travel between multiple school sites during the day as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; or an AAS degree from an SLPA program.
- Active SLPA license/certification.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contract (virtual work is not available).
- Availability to travel between buildings as required.
