Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

Pay: $20/hour starting wage, increasing to $22/hour after a successful 90-day review. Future raises are based on performance, growth, and contribution to the team.

Customer Experience Coordinator
Position Overview

Canyon Adventure Vans is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Customer Experience Coordinator. This role is the primary point of contact for customer communication and in-person inquiries, while also supporting daily operational workflows.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable using technology, and is eager to learn new systems. Training will be provided, and we are committed to helping the right person succeed and grow with our company.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in staying organized, keeps detailed notes, asks questions when they need clarification, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. We believe there is no such thing as a stupid question. We'd rather have someone who asks, learns, and grows than someone who guesses.

If you have an interest in van life, overlanding, camping, adventure travel, or the outdoors, that's a huge plus. Our customers are passionate about their adventures, and it's always helpful when our team shares that enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer emails, website chats, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner

  • Greet and assist customers visiting the shop

  • Answer questions related to products, orders, lead times, troubleshooting, and general inquiries

  • Assist with order lookups and order support using Shopify and Gmail

  • Use Google Workspace (email, documents, shared files) for daily communication and organization

  • Track tasks, projects, and follow-ups using Google Suite

  • Communicate clearly with internal team members to resolve customer issues

  • Take detailed notes and document important customer interactions

  • Follow established processes and assist with ongoing improvements

  • Learn our products and become a trusted resource for customers

Qualifications

  • Friendly, professional, adaptable, and customer-focused

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

  • Excellent note-taking and follow-through skills

  • Comfortable learning and using new software and systems

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed

  • Positive attitude and desire to contribute to a team environment

  • Prior customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred

  • Interest in van life, overlanding, camping, outdoor recreation, or adventure travel is a plus
