Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead operations at a busy Long-Term Care pharmacy. This is an 8 to 13-week contract with an immediate start, offering the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.
Schedule & Setting:

Full-time or part-time availability considered

Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00am 7:00pm

Approximately 1 weekend per month

Script volume: ~1,000 prescriptions daily

QS1 software (transitioning to Frameworks soon)
Responsibilities:

Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and daily production to ensure timely prescription delivery

Oversee workflow processes to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations

Manage CII ordering, inventory control, and proper record keeping

Maintain full compliance with USP 797 standards, including staff training and documentation
Requirements:

Active and clear Minnesota Pharmacist license

Minimum 2 years of recent Long-Term Care pharmacy experience

Minimum 2 years of pharmacy management experience

Strong knowledge of workflow optimization, compliance, and staff supervision
