Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Walhalla, SC. This contract position runs from August 5 through May 22, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role is ideal for professionals with SLP certification and experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or school settings, holding the required South Carolina SLP license and Educator Speech-Language Therapist Certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students from K-12.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Participate in paid team meetings and complete assigned administrative duties during indirect hours.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY.
- Valid South Carolina SLP license.
- Educator Speech-Language Therapist Certificate required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare environments.
- Ability to manage caseloads appropriate to a full-time schedule in a K-12 setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compliance with fingerprinting and background check requirements prior to starting.
