Where: Neptune City, NJ | Status: Full-Time | Shifts: Day & Night (12 hours)

The mission

Guard the uptime of a modern plastics manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you’ll own maintenance and repairs in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, cGMP, OSHA, and our internal standards—advancing reliability, safety, and quality every shift.

What you’ll tackle

• Preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on molding equipment and auxiliaries (extruders, conveyors, chillers, compressors).
• Diagnostics and repair across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical domains.
• Facility systems stewardship: HVAC, DI water, compressed air, vacuum, lighting, building controls.
• Partner with engineering and production to cut downtime and elevate performance.
• Accurate documentation in the CMMS (e.g., IQMS) and contributions to continuous improvement/RCAs.
• OSHA-compliant work practices; maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Assist with equipment relocations/installs; fabricate parts with hand tools and basic machine shop equipment (welding a plus).

What you bring

Background

• Technical training program or 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience; plastics or pharmaceutical preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments.

Technical fluency

• Comfort with schematics and manuals; PLC troubleshooting skills (programming is beneficial).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, Lean, and 5S.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.

• Independent, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible and eager to learn.

Physical capability

• Lift up to 50 lbs routinely, 70 lbs occasionally.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders/steps.
• Comfort at heights and within tight spaces.

Your schedule

12-Hour Schedule (2-3-2 Format)

• You work 2 days, then have 2 days off
• Then you work 3 days, followed by 2 days off
• Then you work 2 days, and the cycle repeats

This allows for a consistent rotation and includes every other weekend off.

Shift Times
Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
