Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate project schedules and manage resources effectively using construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for projects.
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among team members.
- Manage project coordination activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Oversee the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Monitor progress against project timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
Experience
- Proven experience in civil construction supervision or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid and Primavera for effective project scheduling.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and techniques.
- Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and contracts is required.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred, demonstrating hands-on knowledge of site operations.
