We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Bookkeeper to support our accounting and finance team. This position is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company.


Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Process customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients and dealers.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to ensure timely collections.
  • Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment status, account questions, and dispute resolution.
  • Set up and maintain customer account information in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Prepare financial reports as requested by management.
  • Maintain and organize accounting files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accounting best practices.
  • Assist in tracking and managing fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Support payroll processing and related journal entries.
  • Monitor and report on company expenses, vendor accounts, and purchase orders.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or inventory-based environment.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
