Job DescriptionCardiac Monitor Technician / Cardiac Device Specialist
This role supports a high‑volume cardiology clinic by remotely monitoring and managing implantable cardiac devices. The position is entirely office‑based with no direct patient contact and focuses on device data review, documentation, and coordination with cardiology providers and nursing staff across two clinic locations.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret remote cardiac device transmissions and alerts (approx. 200/week)
- Perform daily event monitoring to identify clinically significant rhythm or device issues
- Support device clinic workflow (up to 35 in‑office device patients per day)
- Troubleshoot remote monitoring connectivity and transmission issues
- Provide patient education related to device monitoring and follow‑up (by phone)
- Schedule device clinic appointments and follow‑up visits
- Complete accurate billing, charging, and documentation
- Perform detailed EMR charting for device checks, alerts, and communications
- Maintain organized device clinic records and reports
- Communicate significant findings to cardiology providers and nursing staff
- Work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a cardiac device clinic or monitoring environment
- Proficient in electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management
- Experience monitoring implantable cardiac devices (e.g., pacemakers)
- Experience with EMR systems and remote monitoring platforms
- BLS and/or ACLS certification
- IBHRE certification (CCDS / CCSDS)
Work Environment & Schedule
- On‑site, office‑based role across two device clinic locations
- No direct patient contact
- High‑volume cardiology setting supporting multiple providers
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday (approx. 8:30 AM–5:00 PM), Friday (approx. 8:30 AM–3:00 PM)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
