Job Title: Internship - Purchaser
Job Description:
- Research potential suppliers, compare quotes, and evaluate and qualify suppliers for selection.
- Purchase raw materials, negotiate prices, and evaluate product quality based on specifications.
- Create purchase orders, track order status, and receive PO with shipping information update.
- Coordinate with production planners to determine material requirements.
- Maintain safety stock levels and forecast demand based on the production schedule.
- Assist Supply Chain Manager in conducting vendor evaluations, procurement cost analyses, and vendor performance assessments.
- Prepare necessary documentation and reports.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement or Senior/Junior in college courses, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management.
- Advantageous to have procurement or purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.

- Microsoft Excel, Word, Office
- High data analytical skills and able to generate reports
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 certification
- Good interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Chinese and English (advantageous but not required)
