Job Description:
Our recruiting firm is working with a respected independent grocery store group with decades of successful growth in Wisconsin. They are looking for a talented Customer Service Manager to lead daily operations within the department. This role is responsible for driving department performance, developing team members, and delivering exceptional customer service to their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day operations of the department including merchandising, inventory, staffing, and guest service
- Supervise, train, and develop team members to maintain performance standards.
- Ensure produce quality, freshness, and presentation
- Manage ordering, inventory levels, and shrink control to support profitability
- Maintain department cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate with store leadership to execute promotions and sales initiatives
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Monitor department performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
- The right candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in retail, grocery or food service
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service
- Strong understanding of performance metrics
- Food safety knowledge
