Job Title: Fire Sprinkler System Estimator

Location: Woodside, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview

Seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler System Estimator responsible for reviewing blueprints, performing quantity take-offs, calculating material and labor costs, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver accurate project estimates. This role plays a key part in supporting successful project bidding and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for fire sprinkler systems
• Prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates
• Collaborate with sales and management to finalize project bids
• Conduct on-site surveys to verify design and installation requirements
• Coordinate with project management and local authorities to ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Support bid preparation, proposals, and client submissions
• Ensure estimates align with industry standards and project scope

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system estimating or design
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, piping, and components
• Experience performing hydraulic calculations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• Understanding of local codes, regulations, and permitting processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and project teams

• Experience with estimating software or take-off tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
