Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance, shutdown maintenance and repair duties per company standards
- Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance duties
- Document all maintenance activities in maintenance system
- Participate in and support continuous improvement programs
- Maintain knowledge of equipment and remain current on maintenance guidelines
- Perform work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications
- Welding and fabrication as required
- Diagnose problems with existing equipment/machinery
- Perform diagnostics on electrical components and PLC system
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment or completion of a 2-year accredited Industrial Maintenance Certification program
- Knowledge of tools and machines
- Understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis and work at heights of 10 feet or greater, operate lifting devices, and enter confined spaces
