We are seeking an experienced Sign Technician/Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing various types of signs according to specifications.
This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and strong problem solving skills. Applicants must not be afraid of heights. We typically work at elevations of 40'-100' and can peak at upwards of 300'. Ability to troubleshoot primary electrical and low voltage issues in signs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for signs
- Apply lettering to signs
- Install signs on poles, buildings, and other structures
- Operate equipment to create, transport, and install signs
- Resolves signage related issues - including repairs and maintenance
- Install and maintain electrical equipment
- Track and maintain company inventory
- Be able to work in various outdoor conditions and various heights
Skills and qualifications
- Min 2 years experience to drive & operate Crane/bucket truck
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Valid CDL class B unrestricted, a plus
- Valid CDL class A, a plus
- NCCCO certified, a plus
- Electrical wiring experience, a plus
- Vinyl installation and applications, a plus
- Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 80lb
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
