Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Strongsville, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting operational efficiency. The role is 100% onsite and includes responsibilities such as cycle counts, stock monitoring, and reconciliation tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain precise inventory records using designated systems.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and document findings in detail.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and expiration dates to avoid shortages or waste.
• Track and report on slow-moving or excess inventory to optimize storage.
• Verify the accuracy of inbound receipts and outbound shipments against system entries.
• Ensure compliance with established inventory practices and procedures.
• Handle physical inventory tasks, including climbing ladders and moving heavy boxes.
• Support full inventory audits and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or related roles.
• Familiarity with inventory software, preferably BigCommerce.
• Basic proficiency in Excel for data entry and reporting tasks.
• Ability to work onsite, including Saturdays and potential overtime.
• Physical capability to lift heavy items and work in environments with strong fragrances.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable adhering to safety protocols, including wearing closed-toe shoes.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes.
