Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with school setting experience. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with moderate to severe needs within a dynamic educational environment.
Location: Fremont, CA (with work sites located in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale)Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the current school year, with potential for extension based on fit
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to a caseload of 15-20 students with moderate to severe communication challenges
- Deliver individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports adhering to educational standards
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP or SLPA licensure or certification
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques for moderate to severe cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently within a full-time schedule
Schedule and Work Environment:
- Full-time, 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours
- Assigned to a single campus location per day (Santa Clara or Sunnyvale), no transportation required between sites during the workday
