Your Role and Responsibilities
As an X-ray Tech/Positioner, you will be under the direct supervision of the Site Manager/Operations Director/Regional Clinical Manager/Modality Director. Your essential functions will include:
- Greeting and preparing patients for scheduled exams.
- Informing patients about procedures and the exam process.
- Assisting with IV starts for CT exams as applicable.
- Supporting the ROCC Technologist with patient throughput and exam setup.
- Learning and observing CT procedures under the guidance of experienced technologists.
- Ensuring a compassionate and effective interaction with patients, from healthy individuals to those who are critically ill.
- Traveling to various sites within the assigned region.
- Adhering to safety protocols and departmental guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and the public.
Physical Demands
This position may require:
- Lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, with frequent standing and walking.
Dress Attire
Business casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
