CIE USA-Century Plastics, a division of the global enterprise CIE Automotive, is seeking a talented Assembly Production Supervisor to join our team.
Reports to: Plant Manager
Primary Purpose: Effectively and efficiently supervise employees to manufacture and assemble parts.
Essential Functions:
· Direct and coordinate employees on daily work assignments.
· Coach, evaluate and discipline employees.
· Ensure adherence to production schedule.
· Assign operators to jobs on a rotational basis.
· Direct material handlers on movement of stock and color changes.
· Ensure plant cleanliness and organization, inside and outside of building.
· Ensure machine parameters are checked and recorded daily.
· Keep scrap to a minimum.
· Coordinate with the quality department to ensure all standards are met.
· Inform the maintenance department of all equipment and safety related problems.
· Approve the time clock report to ensure hours worked are correct.
· Review operator production reports and record daily production on reports.
· Communicate with all employees and departments.
· Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
· Complete incident investigation and required documentation.
· All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of injection molding, manufacturing, and supervisory experience
· Good communication skills
· Basic computer skills

· Regularly required to stand and walk
· Reach with hands and arms
· Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch
· Lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
