Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Entry Level HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC package units on cell tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Kansas City, Missouri area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining commercial package cooling systems on Cell Phone Towers – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
  • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
  • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
  • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • 1+ year of service, maintenance, or repair on HVAC equipment is preferred.
  • HVAC Technical School will suffice in lieu of experience.
  • EPA Universal or Type 2 Certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for at least a year with an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Standards.

  • Candidates should reside in the Kansas City, Missouri area.
  • May need to be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
  • Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
  • Must have the ability to inspect equipment, both visually and audibly.
  • May need to pass DOT physical.
  • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 hourly/DOE

At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.

In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. Base Pay Range$23—$25 USD
