Schedule:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday (First Shift)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a high-energy individual to join our Machine and Tooling Assembly Team as a Parts Inspector / Quality Control in our Lebanon, Ohio facility who will help us deliver on this mission.
I. Scope & Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Engineering Department on inspection criteria for all manufactured parts
- Tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical defects
- Measures dimensions of product, using measuring instruments, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, optical comparator or Cordax, or micrometers, to verify conformance to specifications
- Dispositions defective products for rework or reuse
- Notifies supervisor or specified personnel of deviations from specifications
- Evaluates and reports on customer returned materials (R.M.A.)
- Maintains gage calibration records and due dates using specialized software
- Additional duties and projects as assigned and requested by the management
II. Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the manufacture and distribution of goods
- Experience with a CMM
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to stand for hours at a time
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 25 lbs
- Ability to work independently
