Job Title: Patient Registrar (Medical Coders)
Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a 30-minute break).
Duration: 22-Weeks Contract
Pay Range: $23 per hour
Required Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Minimum 1 year of clerical experience (Required)
• Data entry speed: Minimum 4,500 keystrokes/hour (Required).
• Familiarity with health insurance benefits and requirements (Preferred)
• Understanding of medical coding systems: ICD-9 and CPT-4.
Job Description:
• Register patients accurately and efficiently, verifying insurance and personal information.
• Manage incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and handle phone messages professionally.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and data accuracy.
