Job DescriptionLead Reliability on the Plant Floor

Techo-Bloc crafts premium landscaping products that turn backyards into showpieces. As our footprint expands, we’re growing the team that keeps our highly automated Douglassville, PA facility running at its best. Location: Douglassville, PA (Serving Reading, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Exeter, Birdsboro, Boyertown, and surrounding areas)

A day in this role

Morning walk-throughs on the production floor. Coaching techs through a tricky PLC fault. Reviewing parts availability for a scheduled PM. Aligning an upcoming capital upgrade. By afternoon, you’re closing the loop on root causes and prepping the team for the next shift—keeping uptime high and surprises low.

What you’ll own

  • Hands-on leadership of maintenance technicians, the parts function, and maintenance planning in a fast-paced, automated plant
  • Departmental budgeting, cost control, and purchasing of critical spares
  • Structured root cause analysis to resolve complex mechanical and electrical failures
  • End-to-end ownership of capital improvement projects—from concept through commissioning
  • Coordination across multiple shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity
  • Direct oversight of sourcing, procurement, and management of spare parts, tools, and external services to minimize downtime
  • Supervision of troubleshooting and repair work on PLC, electrical, and mechanical systems across new and existing equipment
  • Planning and execution of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
  • Training, upskilling, and performance management for maintenance personnel
  • Alignment of procedures, maintenance intervals, and spares with OEM recommendations to maximize safety and reliability
  • Leadership of the annual 6-week equipment rebuild
  • Accountability for maintenance parts inventory, vendor relationships, costs, and MRP
  • Use of the ERP to prioritize, assign, and track work
  • Negotiation and administration of vendor contracts for parts and services

What you bring

  • Solid work history with a strong record of results in industrial manufacturing environments
  • 5+ years as a maintenance supervisor or manager
  • 10+ years in industrial maintenance
  • Depth across: electrical systems; hydraulics and pneumatics; automation and mechanical systems; PLCs/plant automation; ERP systems
  • Proven mentor and trainer across mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Availability to support a three-shift operation
