About the Role


Philpott Solutions Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivatedFinance Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, youll be a key player in our Accounting Departmentmanaging Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions for Philpott and its subsidiaries. Youll ensure accurate, timely processing of transactions, maintain strong vendor and customer relationships, and help keep our cash flow operations running smoothly.

What Youll Do

  • Process and apply customer and vendor payments; reconcile daily A/R and A/P reports
  • Establish and maintain customer credit limits and monitor account status
  • Follow up with customers on delinquent accounts in a professional, solution-focused manner
  • Assist with vendor setup and ensure compliance with company quality standards
  • Process weekly vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and credit/debit memos
  • Monitor and maintain multiple bank accounts and forecast cash needs
  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports for management review
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and management to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
  • Support company goals through accurate, timely, and ethical accounting practices
  • Provide backup support for office reception as needed


What Were Looking For

  • 35 years of experience in high-volume Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Working knowledge of billing, collections, and cash management processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Cloud Suite Industrial software is a plus
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
