Job DescriptionJob Description:Performs supervisory and management activities consistent with the expectations of Essentia Health and the Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Participates in and oversees the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions to provide comprehensive pharmacy services. Work Experience: Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Education Qualifications:
Doctorate or bachelor's degree in pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Pharmacy licensure appropriate to state where working.
Meets Board of Pharmacy requirements to be Pharmacist in Charge/Managing Pharmacist within applicable states.
Ongoing continuing education and license renewal as required by the state Board of Pharmacy.
Ambulatory Only:
BLS certified within 90 days from hire date.
Immunization Delivery Certification completed within 1 year from hire date.
Effective 1/1/2019, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
