Junior Estimator Trainee – Demolition & Excavation
A well-established demolition and excavation contractor with decades of regional experience is seeking a motivated individual who wants to learn the estimating side of the business. This position is ideal for someone with drive, curiosity, and commitment — someone who’s ready to be mentored and grow into a full Estimator role over time
Responsibilities
- Shadow senior estimators to learn how to read drawings, review specs, and prepare bids
- Assist with takeoffs, pricing, and bid documentation
- Gather and organize subcontractor and vendor quotes
- Participate in site visits to understand how demolition and excavation work translate into costs
- Learn how materials, labor, and equipment affect overall project budgets
- Support a collaborative, safety-focused team while developing hands-on industry knowledge
