Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position at an elementary school in Detroit, MI. This role involves working onsite during the 20262027 school year (exact dates to be determined) with a caseload of approximately 25 students in an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students with ASD.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each student's communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in an ASD setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively onsite in a school environment.
