Work Schedule: Full-time | 8-hour shifts | Preferred start time between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Interim Patient Access Managers/Supervisors to oversee daily Patient Access operations during an upcoming healthcare system go-live. This role is focused on providing strong leadership, supporting frontline staff, and maintaining efficient department operations throughout the implementation period. The ideal candidate will be an experienced healthcare leader who can quickly integrate into the team, provide guidance, and help ensure a successful transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily Patient Access operations during a system implementation.
- Provide visible, on-site leadership and support to registration and front-end staff.
- Coordinate staffing schedules, attendance, and shift coverage.
- Address employee questions and operational concerns in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily workflows to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Support staff through change while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
- Partner with leadership to resolve operational challenges as they arise.
- Help maintain service excellence and operational continuity throughout the transition.
Qualifications:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a healthcare environment required.
- Experience managing Patient Access, Registration, Admissions, or healthcare customer service teams strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing staffing, scheduling, attendance, and daily departmental operations.
- Ability to remain organized and lead effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable stepping into a leadership role with minimal training.
- Must be able to work fully onsite.
