General Warehouse Worker



Title: General Warehouse Worker - Utility
Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager/Warehouse Supervisor
Type: Full-time; 40 hours/week
Classification: Non-exempt/Hourly

Summary of Position:

Provides general support for warehouse operations, performing any combination of tasks needed to complete orders, replenish stock, and ship and/or receive merchandise.

Supervisor Responsibilities: none

Work environment:

  • Warehouse environment – exposure to changes in temperature
  • Subject to noise – when working near machinery and/or vehicles
  • Subject to hazards – including proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles
  • Exposure to light dust and fumes

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged standing, reaching, squatting, climbing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting – 100% daily (subject to change daily)
  • Assist lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 70 lbs. (occasionally up to 100 lbs.); receiving unloads up to 100 lbs. (50+ pounds – always a partner lift)
  • Grasping and fine manipulations with hands

Travel:none

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior Warehouse experience
  • Prior Forklift Experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Current Forklift Certification
  • Additional power equipment experience, electric power jack, high lift

Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch.
FT Hourly, 40 hours per week
