Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory Associate plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will perform cycle counts, use RF scanners to manage inventory in real time, assist with inventory relocation projects, and help keep the warehouse organized and safe.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity across assigned areas.
  • Use RF scanners and RF scan guns to track, manage, and update inventory in real time.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Verify that system records consistently reflect actual physical inventory levels.
  • Assist with inventory projects, including transferring bins and materials between different warehouse locations.
  • Handle, move, and organize materials and inventory using appropriate material handling and packaging practices.
  • Support packaging and packing activities to ensure products are prepared correctly for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and orderliness within assigned work areas and storage locations.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures throughout the shift to promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and inventory goals on the 3rd shift schedule.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or production environment.
  • Hands-on experience using RF scanners or RF scan guns to manage and track inventory (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate inventory counts and maintain detailed records.
  • Experience with inventory handling, packaging, and packing processes.
  • Ability to handle material handling tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when updating inventory information.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an entire shift.
  • Capability to handle a physical workload, including moving and lifting inventory bins.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in fast-paced distribution environments such as large e-commerce or fulfillment centers.
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a team on a structured 3rd shift schedule (Wednesday–Saturday, 5:30 PM–3:30 AM).
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
  • Basic familiarity with warehouse inventory systems or handheld scanning devices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
