Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and manage customer orders from entry to fulfillment, ensuring all details are verified, including shipping, billing, and pricing information.
• Maintain and update customer records with critical information such as pricing, new items, address changes, and delivery instructions.
• Serve as a communication link between customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.
• Audit customer purchase orders to confirm accuracy in pricing, quantities, terms of sale, and shipping details.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, documenting issues and following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Process product returns promptly and in line with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with sales staff to provide necessary support and information while they are in the field.
• Operate as a team player, assisting other Customer Service Representatives with data entry and order intake as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety standards while delivering service to customers.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other collaboration tools to effectively manage tasks and communication.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
• Previous experience in chemical distribution or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently while making informed decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
• Willingness to work overtime, be on-call, or handle after-hours responsibilities as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with team collaboration tools.
