Earth Systems is hiring skilled CDL Class A Drivers / Heavy Equipment Operators in Midland, TX!

This full-time role is a true mix of hands-on equipment operation and short-haul CDL driving. You’ll run bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment on active remediation and construction sites — then haul that same equipment safely between job sites across the Permian Basin.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment: backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, tractors

• Transport equipment and materials between job sites using a Class A CDL truck

• Perform earthwork, trenching, demolition, and grading for remediation projects

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance

• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures

• Assist with field setup, troubleshooting, and crew coordination

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and endorsements

• 2+ years’ experience in heavy equipment operation (construction, remediation, or oilfield)

• Mechanical aptitude for field-level repairs and maintenance

• Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors year-round

• High school diploma or GED

• Available to start within one week

• Proven record of reliability and long-term work history

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

• Full physical examination
