Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role is based in Yuba City, CA, and offers a dynamic environment to work directly with a diverse student population across all grade levels during the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Location: Yuba City, CA (K-12 school setting)
Assignment Duration: Contract for the school year (NSY)
Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $60+ per hour
