We are seeking a reliable Custom Cabinet Shop Builder and Installer to join our small team of skilled craftsmen. In this role, you will assist in cabinet building, operate shop equipment, and support installations at multiple local job sites. Reporting directly to the Lead Cabinetmaker and Shop Manager, you will use a combination of manual and powered tools and contribute to the efficient workflow within our close-knit team of 2 to 5 members.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and tools at the shop and job sites
• Assist in cabinet assembly and installation of cabinet components
• Operate the edgebander and other shop equipment
• Install slides and doors on cabinetry
• Perform general shop work and material handling
• Use a variety of manual and powered hand tools effectively
• Support installers on job sites for installation and material handling
• Maintain clear communication with team members and the Lead Cabinetmaker

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cabinet making or woodworking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cabinet assembly and hand tool operation
• Familiarity with operating an edgebander
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures in woodworking
• Effective communication skills in English
• Physical stamina and reliability
• Team-oriented mindset
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop daily
