Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting, with potential support in the Emergency Department based on experience. The candidate should be comfortable working in an acute care environment and delivering patient-centered care with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
• Assist with patient assessments, including taking and recording vital signs
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Administer injections and assist with clinical procedures
• Support patient care activities including hygiene, mobility, and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Assist with scheduling, chart preparation, and general administrative duties
• Coordinate with insurance providers and physicians for authorizations and referrals
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas
• Observe and report patient responses to treatments
• Participate in unit-based care activities and nursing care plans

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State LPN License
• CPR Certification (or ability to obtain/renew)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in inpatient or acute care settings
• Experience in Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department environments
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
