Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide assessment and ongoing services for a student in a school setting located in Oakland, CA. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a students communication development within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for a student
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on assessment results
- Provide ongoing speech-language intervention to support student progress
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with students and staff
- Commitment to student-centered therapeutic approaches
