Sunset Cove Country Club is a dynamic and growing organization specializing in corporate events, weddings, conferences, Private parties and hospitality services. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences and building lasting client relationships.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Event Sales Manager / Event Coordinator to support our sales and events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client interaction, and has a passion for planning and executing successful events.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote event spaces and services, attracting new clients and fostering repeat business
- Engage with clients to understand their event needs, providing expert guidance on venue selection, catering options, and event logistics
- Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms that align with company policies and client expectations
- Upsell additional services such as premium catering packages, décor enhancements, or entertainment options to maximize revenue opportunities
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning and management, including scheduling, vendor liaison, setup, and onsite execution to ensure flawless delivery
- Manage budgets effectively by tracking expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring profitability for each event
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining positive relationships
- Proven experience in marketing strategies related to events or hospitality services
- Expertise in upselling techniques that enhance revenue without compromising client satisfaction
- Deep understanding of event marketing and planning processes from concept through execution
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence and guest engagement
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of banquet operations, catering coordination, contracts management, and hotel or restaurant experience preferred
- Familiarity with budgeting tools and financial oversight for events of varying scales
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, team members, and stakeholders seamlessly
Preferred Skills
- Experience in events management software or CRM ,17hats, Join It, Toast, excel, word systems is a plus.
- Sales-driven mindset with customer service focus
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation
- Base Plus
- Commission
- Yearly pay 30,000 to 80,000
