Highlights:
- You will join a group of well-trained Pediatricians who enjoy teaching residents and medical students both in the office and the nursery while caring for a primarily underserved population
- The group composed of 5 Pediatricians and 2 CRNPs
- The office is located on the West Reading campus just one block from the Hospital and less than one mile from the new Drexel-Our Medical School
- Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
- On-call rotation will be 1 in approximately every 5 evenings and weekends, on average, with 1st call Family Medicine senior resident coverage for answering service calls
- Inpatient teaching rounds in the nursery approximately every 5th week with Allopathic and Osteopathic Family Medicine residents and medical students rotating in Pediatrics
- The hospital’s Pediatric services include: around the clock in-house Neonatology coverage for deliveries and consults; a dedicated Pediatrics service in the Emergency Department; 24/7 Pediatrics Hospitalists; some ambulatory Pediatrics specialty services
