Pride Health is hiring a Senior Hr Generalist to support our client’s medical facility in Grand Rapids MI 49546 This is a 2-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Job Title: Senior Hr Generalist

Location: Grand Rapids MI 49546

Pay Range: $30- $43 per hour (strictly depends on years of experience)

Schedule: M - F 8am - 5pm, additional hours or flexible start and end times may be required.

Duration: 2 Months+

Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for maintaining and coordinating HR policies and programs across managed labs, with a focus on recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations. This role reports to the HR leader of HMH/PLS while supporting multiple client groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and screen exempt and non-exempt applicants, ensuring compliance with company hiring practices and policies.
  • Administer corporate performance management and salary administration programs.
  • Serve as a resource for employee relations issues by counseling employees and managers, gathering information, and partnering with HRSC to recommend actions.
  • Facilitate training and career development initiatives for client groups.
  • Collaborate with the HR leader to manage the annual HR Planning process (performance reviews, compensation planning, goal setting).
  • Serve as Glint Survey administrator for client groups.
  • Assist employees with resolving benefits coverage issues, working closely with Corporate HR and Benefits teams.
  • Support organizational design and change management initiatives across client groups.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Science or Arts)
  • Minimum 3+ years HR Generalist experience
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in a medical/healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong HR knowledge (employment law, employee relations, benefits, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft/Oracle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-demand environments
  • Self-initiative and ability to manage competing priorities

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Remote role, based in Michigan, with the possibility of working occasionally from Grand Rapids.
  • Travel up to 25% to hospital locations across the state of Michigan.
