Role Overview:

This position involves organizing and managing nursing services in the assigned specialty area by assisting in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care. The RN Supervisor will also function in a staff capacity as needed and will take on managerial responsibilities as delegated by the OR Manager. Demonstrating fiscal responsibility is crucial in all aspects of the role. The supervisor will oversee the orientation of new staff and permanent team members in partnership with the Resource Coordinator and the OR Nurse Clinician. This role supports ongoing quality and service improvements to fulfill our commitment to excellence in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of RN experience in the OR is required.

  • Required Education: Graduation from an accredited RN program.

  • Preferred Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
