Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Snow Removal Laborers to join our team for the winter season. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure safe and clear access to properties by removing snow and applying de-icing materials to sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas. This position requires physical labor in harsh winter conditions, often during early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shovel, blow, and sweep snow from walkways, steps, driveways, and other areas.

  • Operate snow blowers, snowplows, salt spreaders, and other snow removal equipment (if qualified).

  • Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing agents to surfaces to prevent ice buildup.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing duties.

  • Respond to emergency snow removal calls on short notice.

  • Maintain and clean snow removal equipment after use.

  • Report hazards, incidents, or damage to the supervisor promptly.

  • Assist with other groundskeeping or maintenance tasks as needed during downtime.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Willingness to work in extreme cold and snowy conditions for extended periods.

  • Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling, etc.).

  • Reliable transportation to job sites or dispatch locations.

  • Experience in snow removal or grounds maintenance is a plus but not required.

  • Valid driver’s license preferred (especially for equipment operators).

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work in freezing temperatures, snowstorms, and icy conditions.

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, boots, and reflective clothing.

  • May involve long or irregular shifts depending on snowfall and weather patterns.

Compensation:

  • Overtime and emergency pay available based on hours and conditions

  • Seasonal or on-call employment (duration based on weather and demand)
