Overview
We are looking for two hardworking, reliable individuals to join our landscaping team for the 2026 season. This role focuses on maintaining the curb appeal of several apartment communities throughout the Harrisburg area. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in keeping properties looking sharp, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lawn Maintenance: Precision mowing, string trimming (weed whacking), and edging of large residential lawns and common areas.
- Property Cleanup: Blowing off sidewalks, parking lots, and breezeways to ensure a debris-free environment for residents.
- Landscaping Tasks: Mulching, weeding flower beds, and light shrub trimming as needed.
- Equipment Care: Basic daily maintenance and safe operation of zero-turn mowers, push mowers, and power tools.
Schedule & Compensation
- Season: Early May through late October.
- Rate: $140 per day.
- Hours: Full-time daily shifts (typically Monday–Friday, weather permitting).
Requirements
- Reliability: You must have dependable transportation to our meeting site in Harrisburg.
- Stamina: Ability to work a full day outdoors in varying Pennsylvania summer weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience with commercial mowing equipment is preferred but not required—we will train the right person with a great work ethic.
- Professionalism: Since we work on-site at apartment complexes, a respectful attitude toward residents and staff is a must.
