Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial carpentry, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Pay is based on experience.
This role involves framing, finish work, repairs, installations, and reading blueprints to complete projects accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry
- Measure, cut, and install wood, drywall, cabinets, doors, windows, and trim
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Construct and repair frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, and other structures
- Install cabinetry, molding, baseboards, crown molding, and other finish carpentry elements
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades
- Troubleshoot and solve construction-related issues on-site
Qualifications
- Must have verifiable experience in carpentry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Strong measuring and math skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- OSHA or safety certifications are a plus
