Our Hibbing location is growing and we need to add another Clinical Assistant. If you are a Certified Medical Assistant or an LPN, Were interested in hearing from you. The primary responsibility of this role is to support clinic providers, partnering with each to deliver a high-quality patient experience through respectful, professional, and compassionate interactions. Collaboration is a must in our team-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities
Transcribing office/procedure notes in EMA (medical record)
Rooming patients and reviewing/updating patient information, medications, allergies, etc.
Speaking with and noting detailed information regarding reason for patient visit
Assisting Providers with inpatient procedures
Providing, and reviewing detailed documentation in the patient's post-visit summary regarding wound care/treatment plan
Qualifications:
Possess current/valid license or certification as a CMA or LPN
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within three months from the date of hire
- Experience preferred but not necessary
- Demonstrated success in providing quality care to patients
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Acute attention to detail at work
- Competent computer skills with the willingness to learn clinic-specific systems
- Available to work between 32 hours/wk, Monday-Friday, days and hours will vary, shifts run between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Available for potential training opportunities in Duluth, Minn.
