Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician skilled in analytical chemistry and ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) analysis. This position involves supporting laboratory setup, preparing samples, and conducting precise testing of mineral concentrates.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate ICP and other laboratory instruments.
- Prepare samples and standards for analysis.
- Perform and interpret ICP analyses under supervision.
- Maintain laboratory records, data logs, and quality control documentation.
- Handle reagent preparation, waste management, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow safety and environmental protocols.
- Assist with future lab construction design and layout.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in ICP, XRF, and analytical chemistry.
- Experience in wet chemistry, titration, and biology.
- Knowledge of minerals, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Experience with ICP-OES preferred.
- Knowledge of sample digestion and trace-metal analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to wear PPE and handle acids and bases safely.
Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse lab with an inorganic chemistry lab environment, including hoods and benches. The position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday with flexible shifts determined weekly. The environment is a startup setting, promoting independent work post-training with opportunities for advancement, competitive hourly pay, and future stock options.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dania, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
