Private Chef – In-Home Meal Prep Service
We are seeking an experienced Private Chef who can consistently execute menu items to match company menu standards and presentation, while maintaining proper cooking techniques, timing, and overall food quality. The ideal candidate must be able to follow recipes precisely, accommodate dietary restrictions, and deliver a professional, pleasant experience while working inside clients’ homes.
This position requires confidence cooking in residential kitchens, strong attention to detail, and the ability to represent the company in a polished and respectful manner during all client interactions. Chefs must be able to complete all assigned cooking within the scheduled time frame with no exceptions, stay organized while working, and fully clean the kitchen and all used equipment before leaving the client’s home.
Pay: $20 per hour
Requirements:
- Ability to prepare meals that match menu photos, recipes, and company quality standards
- Must be able to cook within the scheduled service time frame (no exceptions)
- Must clean all dishes, surfaces, and cooking equipment used during service
- Strong understanding of cooking times, food safety, and proper kitchen workflow
- Ability to follow dietary restrictions and special instructions exactly
- Comfortable working in private homes and interacting professionally with clients
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to provide your own chef equipment IF NECESSARY (some clients have all needed items. Some jobs require you to bring your own knives, cookware, utensils, etc. Company may provide a set at its own discretion to an employee.)
- Must be organized, punctual, and able to work independently. Must have your own car.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a private chef, personal chef, or catering chef
- Experience cooking a variety of cuisines
- Experience working in residential kitchens or client-facing environments
