Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LTAC ICU position requiring Epic proficiency, AHA-certified ACLS and BLS, and the ability to reside 65+ miles from the facility.
Details
- Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting
- Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
- Specialized procedures include TPN administration, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter care, and narcotic administration
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Block scheduling will be considered
Requirements
- Active Louisiana or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- LTAC experience is not required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible
- Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign travelers to an emergency team, which may require remaining at the facility during or after an emergency event or serving as part of a relief team
- RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
