Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized role is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Specialist within the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, focusing on cardiac imaging and catheterization procedures. This position is based in Winston-Salem, NC, at a well-established community hospital known for its teaching status and dedicated stroke and chest pain centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrophysiology and catheter lab imaging procedures with precise intraprocedural documentation.
- Manage patient monitoring and assist during EP procedures, including running stimulators and handling advanced equipment.
- Collaborate with 3-4 clinicians per case to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
- Utilize technology such as EPIC EMR and specialized systems like CARTO, ESI, and Lab Pro for accurate patient tracking and procedure facilitation.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of EP lab or Cardiovascular Cath Tech experience required.
- For Registered Nurses: BLS and ACLS certifications, proficient in charting with EPIC, and experience managing pressors and circulating during EP procedures.
- For Cardiac Cath Techs: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R or equivalent certification, RCIS required, with RCES preferred.
- Demonstrated skill in EP/Cath Lab scrub techniques and handling of department-specific equipment.
Schedule and Work Environment:
- Contract position with no weekend rotations, on-call, or holiday duties.
- Typical shift hours are 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM with schedules released every 13 weeks.
- One-week general orientation plus two days departmental training provided.
