A K-12 school located in Billings, MT is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support the speech-language pathology program on a contract basis. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assist students in developing munication skills essential for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting observations to the supervising clinician.
- Prepare therapy materials and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student munication goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state of Montana.
