Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Verify the conformity of finished products to customer specifications using visual inspection and precision measuring tools.
  • Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances for inspection purposes.
  • Perform final inspections on parts as required.
  • Verify the proper completion of paperwork related to inspections.
  • Check the status of non-conformances and process them accordingly.
  • Perform inspections under AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation.
  • Verify all required supporting documentation from suppliers and for customers.
  • Experience with Net-Inspect, Verify, Exostar, Hasp, and other customer-driven management systems.
  • Follow all policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE.
  • Communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Management teams.
  • Continually improve and implement new programs and tools to develop and support our culture.
  • Identifies and develops process and equipment needed to produce specific products, parts, and components culture
  • Manufacturing Support & Process Engineering
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Participate in the development of the company’s strategic planning, vision, mission and values, and desired culture
  • Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
  • CMM experience is a plus

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer and regulatory specifications. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP (GlobalShop)
