We are hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support building systems projects for a growing MEP consulting practice serving Saint Joseph, OH. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with strong experience in commercial and institutional electrical design. The position focuses on leading technical execution, overseeing project coordination, and ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients throughout Saint Joseph, OH and nearby communities.

Core Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical system design for commercial and institutional facilities in Saint Joseph, OH, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Direct projects from conceptual planning through bidding and construction support phases.
- Produce and review detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit, including active drafting responsibilities.
- Coordinate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing designers, and owners to align technical requirements.
- Maintain compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes governing projects in Saint Joseph, OH.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to maintain profitability and timely delivery.

Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within an MEP or architectural engineering consulting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with demonstrated hands-on design capability.
- Experience designing electrical systems for sectors such as higher education, municipal facilities, recreation centers, medical office buildings, retail, hospitality, or light industrial projects.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and commercial building regulations.
- Demonstrated stability and progression within consulting engineering roles.
